Digital Version of God of War's Revenue Reaches 131 Million USD in a Month!
This achievement beats earnings from Uncharted 4 and The Witcher 3
It’s not an open secret God of War made Sony a huge success this year, particularly in sales in the form of digital. Sony has previously reported that God of War sold 3 million units in just 3 days and sold 5 million units within a month after God of War release.
Of the 5 million units, 2.1 units are versions of the digital and according to an analyst from SuperData, Sony earns up to 131 million USD in a month from sales God of War digital version.
The achievements of this God of War surpass the achievements Uncharted 4 (56 million USD) and The Witcher 3 (69 million USD). Sony doesn’t really mention sales God of War in its earnings report in the first quarter, but from the publisher God of War himself said that the game’s performance was above expectations.
