Avoid the Corona Virus Outbreak, Valve Officially Postpones the Fourth Major and Minor!
After previously ESL postponed the schedule from ESL One Los Angeles 2021, now Valve has officially announced that the fourth Major and Minor tournaments will also be postponed.
This decision was taken to avoid the Corona virus outbreak which is increasingly threatening mankind. In addition, the difficulty of traveling to a country is one of the reasons Valve issued this decision.
EPICENTER and OGA Pit Minor 2021 Postponed
According to Dota 2’s official Twitter account, they have considered various possibilities for the Covid-19 pandemic. They do not want to take risks that could pose a danger to the health of staff, fans or players.
In addition, considering the difficulty of getting access to a country, it was one of the main reasons for Valve to postpone this tournament. Not only that, this postponement does seem very logical because ESL One Los Angeles, which is the third Major tournament, has also been officially postponed.

Fifth Major and Minor Tournaments Under Monitoring
If you refer to the existing schedule, the fifth Major tournament, namely the ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021, is planned to be held in June. Of course there’s still about 3 months left before this tournament.
Of course, Valve is currently waiting on whether the Corona virus outbreak can be quickly resolved or not. If it is felt that there has been no better development, it is likely that Valve will make a decision by postponing this tournament.
This means, The International 2021 will be postponed from the schedule that was planned to roll in August 2021.
