ASUS ROG Strix GL504GW Scar II review

The presence of NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards, makes laptop manufacturers update their product lines. One of them is the Asus ROG Strix GL504GW Scar II. As the successor of the ROG Strix GL503VS series, this latest laptop is different in terms of slimmer dimensions and the use of GeForce RTX series graphics cards. This laptop is one of the first three gaming laptops that use NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics that are present in Indonesia.

As the latest graphic series that offers high performance, the selling price is still quite expensive. But here the producers want to point out that with the newer graphics cards, the improvements feel quite far and can amaze gamers who are hungry for cool looks and top-notch performance.

Specification

Design

The front has the ROG logo with RGB lights on. The side on the front also has RGB lights that light up according to the settings. It’s cool for those who like the look of the lights on. The body uses a strong aluminum material.

The back side has an exhaust hole, and the interior is lined with soft touch rubber which in addition to feeling good as a base for typing, this material keeps us safe from static electricity. In this interior, Asus adds a little military motif. Maybe he meant to emphasize that this laptop is tough. But for some reason, we see that this motif actually gives the impression of being dirty and looks a little disturbing.

Dimension

Even though it doesn’t carry the Max-Q Design concept, this gaming laptop still comes with a thin physique. Only 2.61 cm thick, about 36.1 x 26.2 cm long and wide. The weight is also fairly light, only 2.4 kilos. So who says gaming laptops are not cool to carry and carry around? This ASUS ROG Strix GL504GW Scar II can be proof of that.
